Psychometric Assessments

Psychometric assessments, also known as psychometric tests, evaluate a person’s personality attributes, intelligence, behavior, aptitude and abilities. They serve extremely beneficial in career guidance and business, matching an individual’s abilities to the chosen business venture.

Psychometric tests form an essential tool for ensuring you get the right candidates on board. These provide insights into an employee’s life cycle, starting with recruitment, training, and leadership development.

DISC Profile

The DISC profile assessment method analyzes personalities on the basis of these traits: dominance, influence, steadiness and conscientiousness. It places value on an individual’s reactions, influence and speed under difficult circumstances. The most important drawback of the DISC profile is that it cannot evaluate specific personality traits required for a job role.

Mindset Profiling

This test is based on the research and findings of Dr. Carol Dweck. According to Dr. Dweck, mindset is a psychological attribute, where individuals having fixed mindsets are of the opinion that people are born with intelligence and skills. Whereas, people with growth mindsets think that these can be acquired to enhance abilities.

Johari Window

It is a psychological tool invented by Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham in 1955. The Johari window is a simple and beneficial component supporting better understanding and training. It focuses on soft skills, such as behavior, empathy, cooperation, etc.

It majorly taps into:

self-awareness, personal development, improving communications, interpersonal relationships, group dynamics, team development and inter group relationships

Locus of Control

Locus of control highlights the extent to which people feel they can exercise control over events that can influence their lives. When finding relevant solutions to a challenge at hand, do you ever feel that you have control over the outcome? Or do you rather believe that the outcome depends entirely on external forces? Your locus of control can have an influence on how you respond to events happening in your life along with your motivation to take an action.
